There are a few options to install the Merx plugin.

Merx does not have any special requirements. If Kirby 3 is running fine, Merx also will be fine.

Installation as Git submodule

Run the following command on your website’s root and Merx and it’s dependencies are installed at site/plugins/merx.

git submodule add site/plugins/merx

Installation via Composer

composer require wagnerwagner/merx

The Starterkit is a complete online shop with commented blueprints, templates, JavaScript and CSS.

It is ideal for new users to explore many of Merx’s possibilities. If you want to create a simple store fast, this would also be a good option for you. If you want to use PayPal and/or Stripe (Credit card, SEPA Direct Debit, Klarna) with the Starterkit you have to create and add the respective keys.

If you want you can start with the Plainkit. This is a full working shop but with no styles and no fancy JavaScript. If you want to use PayPal with the Plainkit you have to set up your PayPal keys.
